Ronaldo Scores twice to send Portugal to Euro 2012

     Captain Cristiano Ronaldo could not have been any more brilliant in a 6-2 win over Bosnia, Tuesday night in Lisbon, Portugal.  After leaving Bosnia last week with a draw, Portuguese fans were eager for their national team to start performing like the world-class team that they are, and they did not have to wait long.  With only 8 minutes off the clock in the first half, Ronaldo won a free-kick 35 yards from goal.  Ronaldo struck his trademark free-kick past Bosnia Goalkeeper, Asmir Begovic, and put Portugal ahead 1-0.  Ronaldo then scored again in the 53 minute, after beating Begovic just over a few yards from goal.  
     The win over Bosnia qualifies Portugal for the Euro 2012 finals, in which Ronaldo will be looking to come through for his team once again.  There undeniably are times when Ronaldo goes on "cruise control" during some games.  However, when he is as focused and inspired as he is right now, he is undoubtably the most feared and most lethal player on earth.

Yet Another Award for CR7 - European Golden Shoe

The Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has officially been presented with the European Golden Shoe award for finishing the 2010-11 season as the top scorer in all of Europe. Ronaldo finished his season in Spain's La Liga with a stunning total of 40 goals! This is not the first time Cristiano has been awarded with the Golden Shoe, he previously won the prestigous award in 2008 with Manchester United scoring a total of 31 goals. Ronaldo was handed the award at Madrid's Intercontinental Hotel by Portugal legend Eusebio and Real Madrid honorary president Alfredo Di Stefano. Although Ronaldo was content with winning the award, he remarked that he would have been happier to see his club side lift the biggest trophie in the game than to continue winning individual accolades. Quoting "I would trade this award right now for the Champions League or La Liga," he said. "You can only win individual awards because the team help you." Showing that he is a man of great honor and respect inknowing that the game of soccer is a team effort and that without the team he would not be recieving the trophy.

Cristiano Ronaldo Jr was born on the 17th of June of 2010, weighing 9 pounds and 8 ounces. CR7 announced on the 3rd of July 2010, through his personal Twitter and Facebook pages, that he had become a father. The alleged mother to who Ronaldo paid a hefty expense of 10 million pounds  ( approximately $16 million dollars) was required to keep her identity a secret and hand the baby over to his family. This all occurred because of a one night stand with the penniless American waitress mentioned above. It is claimed that after the alleged one night stand  the penniless waitress became pregnant and contacted Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendez. In following to this Ronaldo agreed to a DNA test, which revealed to him that he was indeed the father, this all occured while he was in South Africa for the 2010 Fifa World Cup. It is claimed by Ronaldo that all this occured after deciding that he desperately wanted to become a father, so in so when he found out this was occuring it was rather a quite delightful suprise. To the public however, is a great deal of controversy over the mothers "unhuman/immoral" decision to sell her own child, and some who dispise what Ronaldo has  done, and believe that it is "cruel" to take all rights from its mother and unjust to raise the child without a mother .
